Tour Operator

The Tour Operator is Destiny-Portugal, address Rua João Infante, 78 R/C-C, 2750-384 Cascais (Portugal). You must read and accept our terms and conditions as contractually binding. We ask that you read them carefully.
No booking form enters our reservation system without the customer having accepted said terms and conditions prior to submitting it.

Reservations and deposits

You will be required to pay only 50% of the total value, which secures a space on the tour. Space is limited and reservations are on a first come basis. The balance is due only 10 days prior to day  zero.
If it is the case you prefer to rent a bike, the rental period is not interrupted due to a riding inability of a renter or for any other reason.
During the tour Destiny-Portugal is not obliged to replace a damaged motorcycle, but we will help you to rent one.

Own motorcycle

When a customer brings his/her own motorcycle for use on a tour no insurance is provided by Destiny-Portugal.

Price of tour includes

• Pre tour pack including tour information, route notes and GPS routes in GPX files and detailed road book on paper. 
• Hotel accommodation in double or twin rooms. Single room supplement will be charged if that is your choice.
• All meals and beverages on tour. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Welcome and farewell dinner/lunch.
• Welcome and farewell packs.
• Vineyards tours and wine tasting.
• Cultural/guided visits.
• Tour Leaders throughout the tour.
• Commemorative Polo Shirt for all riders and passengers.
• Expert advice and support throughout.

Price of tour does not include

• Air ticket
• Fuel
• Highway tolls.
• Travel Insurance
• Liquor drinks 
• All items not listed as included and all personal items.

Room allocation

A limited number of single rooms are available at extra cost on a first-come basis, but availability cannot be guaranteed. If you travel alone, but wish to share a double room, Destiny-Portugal will try to find a roommate for you that is in the same situation. If Destiny-Portugal cannot find a roommate, the single supplement will have to be charged.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to departure will be subject to a 300 Euro per person cancellation fee. Cancellations received less than 60 days prior to departure will not be refundable. Trip Cancellation Insurance is strongly recommended.

Minimum tour participation

Up to four weeks prior to the tour start, Destiny-Portugal can cancel the tour if a sufficient number of customers for the particular tour is not reached. In this case the customer will be notified forthwith and his payment refunded in full, which constitutes the full settlement.

Tour cancellation

When the tour cannot be started or has to be interrupted or ended for reasons outside of the control of Destiny-Portugal or its contractors or customers as well as in a case of force majeure such as riots, floods, earthquakes, strikes, etc. the contract becomes invalid. In that case refunds will be calculated for each given situation.

Non observance of traffic laws or Destiny-Portugal regulations

If the customer does not comply with traffic laws or the requirements for group travel, the contract may be cancelled by Destiny-Portugal.

Passport, ID card, driving and health regulations

The customer is responsible for complying with above regulations and all consequences resulting from non-compliance. The customer must be in possession of a valid passport or ID card, and proper health insurance for the duration of their tour.

Responsibility

Destiny-Portugal is responsible for providing the services in the tour description according to the local standard and the accurate description of services offered in its literature. Destiny-Portugal carefully selects and constantly monitors its contractors, such as hotels and restaurants and bike transporters. Destiny-Portugal is responsible for conscientious travel preparations. Destiny-Portugal is not responsible or liable for any accidents. Destiny-Portugal reserves the right, without prior notice, to withdraw any part or all of a tour, to make such changes as may be necessary and the extra cost, if applicable, resulting there from, shall be paid by the customer. Furthermore, it is agreed and understood that the owners, operators and agents of this tour, including Destiny-Portugal are not the guardians of any customer’s safety and they, individually or collectively, cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the operation or the client’s participation in connection with the tour, which might result in injury, death, or other damage to the client, his property, or his family, heirs, or assigns. Destiny-Portugal is not responsible or liable for a delay occurring from the manufacturers failure to deliver the motorcycles on time. The liability of Destiny-Portugal as the tour-operator is limited to a total of the tour price irrespective of the title/claim. Destiny-Portugal is not responsible for any delays, changes, in schedule or other conditions.

Alterations to tour schedule

Tours operate on seasonal basis and where seasonal variances and/or weather condition cause changes in the tour routing and accommodations, the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly and alternate hotels, restaurants and roads will be used.

Photo & video material

Photos and videos produced by Destiny-Portugal on tour are the property of Destiny-Portugal. The copyrights are held by Destiny-Portugal, Destiny-Portugal reserves the rights to use all such material for advertising and marketing purposes, including images in which individual tour members can be recognized, without the tour member being entitled to make any claim against Destiny-Portugal for this use of material. This right would be annulled in the case of an explicit request by the client not to use photographs in which he/she appeared. This request will only be valid if it is issued before the start of the Tour.

Insurance

Destiny-Portugal recommends that you take out adequate travel, health and accident insurance as well as trip cancellation insurance with our agents.

Verbal changes

Verbal changes of the contract are invalid unless confirmed by Destiny-Portugal in writing.

Printing errors

Destiny-Portugal reserves the right to correct printing errors and calculation mistakes at any time.

Transfer of Booking

If a Participant, for any reason, is unable to travel the booking can be transferred to a third-party subject to prior approval of the Tour Operator. In such cases at least two weeks notice should be given, and the changes will be subject to an administration fee plus any additional direct costs incurred.

Delays on arrival to Portugal

The Tour Operator will always provide arrangements to integrate you in the tour, in case your flight is delayed. For this purpose, we will require from you date, time and flight number.
